In a previous article, we talked about Publishing Testimonials so they automatically appear on your website, but AskNicely also allows you to create a great digital postcard with the published comment on it, which you can post to your company’s Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram, or wherever you like to show off your praise!

The process is really simple, but does require that your customer has already authorized you to publish their comment. To read more about what that entails, check out our article on Publishing Testimonials.

Creating a Social Card

Once your customer has approved a comment to be published, whether you’re using the carousel or not, you’ll be able to create a social card by navigating to the response. 

  1. Click Published
  2. Click Edit Social Card

You’ll be taken to a screen where you can customize and edit your social card before saving it. 

To the left, you’ll find several options for customizing the quote in your image, including light or dark text, whether there’s a black stroke on the text (to make it more visible on lighter backgrounds), and if you’ll apply a filter. 

To the right, you can choose from our selection of background images, or you can upload your own by scrolling all the way down and selecting Browse File, or dragging and dropping a picture into that box. 

When your card looks ready to share with the world, click Download to download the image, which you can then upload like any other picture to any of your social media.

Remember, you don’t need to have the testimonial carousel set up to use social cards, but you do need to request publishing permission. 

Once you have, make that quote beautiful and share it with the world.
